Role Overview

As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of South San Jose, you will be responsible for providing exceptional, client-centered home care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their individual needs and deliver compassionate service that upholds our standards of excellence. You will have a flexible schedule (work-life balance) and have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the comfort of our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Foster meaningful relationships with clients and provide emotional support.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Experience in caregiving or related fields.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to support a diverse client population.

Bonus If You

• Have a certification in First Aid/CPR.
• Possess additional certifications in caregiving or related areas.
• Are bilingual in a second language.
