Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients
• Use manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges

Skills

• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior promptly
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities
• Proficiency in caring for seniors and supporting those with geriatrics needs
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and family members
