In-Home Caregiver/Household Assistant/Housekeeping

Senior Care & Household Assistant We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, organized, and trustworthy individual to assist with senior care and the daily management of our household. The primary responsibility of this position is ensuring our mother receives attentive, compassionate, and consistent care while helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed home. Primary Responsibilities – Senior Care - Provide daily assistance and compassionate care for our mother. - Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and changing as needed. - Assist with toileting and changing adult briefs as needed. - Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages. - Provide medication reminders and administer prescribed medications when provided and authorized, in accordance with training and applicable requirements. - Monitor daily needs, comfort, and overall well-being. - Provide companionship and supervision. - Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. - Communicate important updates or concerns to family members. Secondary Responsibilities – Household Management & Organization - Perform general housekeeping and maintain cleanliness throughout the home. - Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean bathrooms and kitchen areas. - Wash, fold, hang, and put away laundry. - Change bed linens and maintain bedrooms. - Organize closets, cabinets, drawers, and household spaces. - Put away groceries and organize pantry and refrigerator items. - Monitor household supplies and communicate when items need replenishing. - Walk and care for the family dog, including providing food and water. - Take care of everyday household responsibilities and help keep everything running smoothly. Ideal Candidate - Has previous experience in senior care, caregiving, or home health assistance. - Is patient, compassionate, attentive, and trustworthy. - Is comfortable assisting with personal care and hygiene. - Is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. - Can work independently and manage daily responsibilities without constant supervision. - Has reliable transportation and references. - CPR/First Aid certification and CNA experience are preferred. Pay: From $18.00 per hour
