Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide companionship to promote emotional well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
• Manage light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Support medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings, ensuring safety and comfort throughout activities

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or related caregiving roles preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
• Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle diverse client needs with patience and professionalism
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if necessary
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures in a home setting
• Familiarity with medical-surgical care, geriatrics, or post-acute care is advantageous
• Experience working with individuals requiring Level II trauma center or hospital medicine support is a plus
