In-Home Caregiver - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication management as needed
• Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients, including light housekeeping and laundry
• Engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, such as conversation, reading, and games
• Document client information and provide regular updates to our care team
• Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
• Foster a sense of community and trust with our clients, honoring their unique experiences and needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in caregiving or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
• Passion for providing exceptional care and compassion to Veterans and their families

Work Environment

• In-home setting, providing one-on-one care to clients in their own homes
• May require occasional travel to support clients in their communities
