Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including nursing homes, home health, and long-term care facilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring resident rights are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Ensure that the living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to the well-being of the client.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client information and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients in memory care or senior care settings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing home, home health, or long-term care environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately.
• Understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for clients’ needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
