In Home Caregiver- Overnights

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare, particularly those familiar with various medical environments such as private duty home health, Long Term Care, outpatient care, geriatrics, and emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
• Help and/or Prepare meals and assist.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
• 12 hour shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related healthcare fields is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
