In Home Caregiver

Job Summary In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to a 61 year old woman. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in her life by assisting with daily activities and ensuring safety. MUST be dog friendly.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods.
• MUST be compassionate and demonstrate patience.
• Client is nonverbal BUT is 100 percent mentally alert and is her own person. Must be willing to use an alphabet chart to communicate with her.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Experience

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting client with mobility challenges.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
