Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, home health services, and community support, with a genuine commitment to enhancing clients' quality of life. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring safety while fostering independence and dignity for those you serve.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans and healthcare regulations.
• Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or developmental disabilities through tailored care strategies.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
• Utilize manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe mobility assistance.
• Document patient observations, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes.
• Knowledge of patient monitoring, care plans, medication management, and vital signs assessment.
• Familiarity with dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and Alzheimer's support strategies.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional training in HIPAA compliance is preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; compassionate approach essential.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
