Job Summary

******This is a weekend position only*** Join our weekend team as an In Home Caregiver and provide attentive, respectful support to clients in their homes. This paid role focuses on personal care, daily routines, safety, and meaningful client communication. Weekend availability is required. Your impact: Consistent, compassionate care helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence at home.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, transfers, and manual handling; use a Hoyer lift only when trained and authorized.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and follow care plans, medication instructions, and resident’s rights.
• Support older adults and people with disabilities, including individuals with autism, developmental or intellectual disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Provide appropriate support for dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice, and other home health needs while protecting privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Experience

• Caregiving, patient care, direct support, or home care experience is relevant; experience in home and community care, group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is welcome.
• Familiarity with senior care, geriatrics, nursing, patient observation, vital signs, patient transfer methods, and medication administration is helpful.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills are preferred. Applicants should be prepared for the physical demands of the role, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
• Clear client communication, reliability, respect for confidentiality, and a calm, attentive approach are important.
