In Home Caregiver

We are looking for a HEALTHY, energetic & creative in-home caregiver for our 31 year old son who had a traumatic brain injury 9 years ago. Duties would include but not limited to activities of daily living including assistance w/ bathing, administration of medicine, water & tube feed via a PEG/GI tube, assisting w/ feeding by mouth, hygiene/toileting & all physical needs such as transferring from wheelchair and prescribed exercises. We are also looking for someone to actively engage him in physical & cognitive activities to continue his progression. This is a very active & physical job- NOT a "sitter" position. Some direct patient care experience is required. Currently our most needed hours are Mondays 3-10 pm, Fridays 3-10 pm, & some Saturdays 8am-4pm . I always say if I find the perfect fit, I can be flexible and work into more hours if wanted! Reliability, good communication, punctuality & compassion is key. We need someone who RARELY, if ever, calls in to miss a shift (for any reason). We look forward to hearing from you!
