In-Home CNA – Henderson, Kentucky

Comfort Keepers is hiring experienced CNAs to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes throughout Henderson and surrounding areas.

We are looking for experienced professionals who understand that excellent home care is about more than completing a task list. Our clients and their families depend on us to provide reliable, compassionate care—and we are looking for CNAs who take that responsibility seriously.

This position is ideal for someone who is professional, dependable, confident providing hands-on personal care, and committed to showing up consistently for the clients they serve.

What You'll Do

As an In-Home CNA, you may assist clients with

• Bathing, showering, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Dressing and toileting assistance
• Ambulation, transfers, and mobility support
• Fall prevention and maintaining a safe home environment
• Meal preparation and assistance with eating
• Medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Light housekeeping related to the client's daily needs
• Companionship and meaningful interaction
• Monitoring for changes in a client's condition and communicating concerns promptly
• Transportation to medical appointments, errands, shopping, or other approved activities when included in the client's care plan

Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved client transportation and travel between clients.

This position requires previous professional caregiving or CNA experience. We are specifically looking for individuals who demonstrate:

Our clients rely on their caregivers. Consistent attendance and communication are essential requirements of this position.

Job Requirements

Applicants must have

• Previous professional caregiving or CNA experience
• CNA certification
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from all scheduled shifts
• Active automobile insurance
• Willingness and ability to transport clients when assigned to a case requiring transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings
• Two acceptable forms of identification for employment verification
• Ability to attend an in-person orientation at our Owensboro, Kentucky office

Pay & Benefits

Starting pay: $17.00 per hour

In-Person Orientation

Qualified applicants must be willing and able to travel to Owensboro, Kentucky to complete their required in-person orientation and onboarding.

Please note

This position is for clients located in the Henderson, Kentucky area. Travel to Owensboro is required for orientation, but your regular client assignments will be based in the Henderson service area.
