WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a compassionate Lead Caregiver to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. In this important role, you will support clients with personal care while also assisting the Care Advocates with training, assessments, and follow-up.

As a Lead Caregiver, you will perform all duties outlined in the Caregiver Job Description (Levels 1-4) and provide leadership and guidance to the caregiving team. The role requires flexibility, dependability, and a passion for helping others, along with the ability to transport clients and travel to client homes for visits and assessments.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES

• Provide companionship and assist with daily activities, including personal care, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Support clients with ambulation, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications, assist with exercises, and care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s disease, or post-stroke conditions.
• Assist with complex care tasks such as Hoyer lift transfers and providing bed baths.
• Perform yard work and run errands for clients when needed.
• Provide end-of-life care to families with compassion and professionalism.

CARE ADVOCATE ASSISTANCE

• Assist in training and mentoring new caregivers.
• Conduct client home visits for regular assessments and documentation.
• Maintain client records, ensuring all necessary forms are completed and uploaded.
• Communicate with Care Advocates and scheduling teams to address client and caregiver concerns.
