Reports to: Executive Director

Purpose of Your Job Position (Position is Monday-Friday and on call for emergencies, can be full time or part time)

This is a great position for someone who enjoys property management, working with a fun team and seeing the elderly daily. Seeking a person of all trades as you need to know a little bit of everything. Painting rooms, fixing toilets, replacing a door henge, cleaning an ice maker, the list goes on and on. Must have ability to be on call for building emergencies.

We are smaller Assisted Living property. Seeking a team player who wants to be present and involved. For us its about finding the right person, who has the same integrity and work ethic that is reflected in our team.

primary purpose of your job position is to oversee general maintenance

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate information to executive management regarding the maintenance

Oversee the coordination of maintenance services and activities with other related departments (i.e., Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.).

Inspect storage rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control.

Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as necessary or as may be directed.

Review and develop a plan of correction for maintenance deficiencies noted during survey inspections and provide a written copy of such to the Executive Director.

Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc.

Delegate a responsible staff member to act in your behalf when you are absent from the facility.

Safety and Sanitation

Supervise safety and fire protection and prevention programs by inspecting work areas and equipment at least weekly.
