Male PCA/Caregiver

Bella Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide one-on-one support for a 19-year-old male with severe autism. We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care.

Schedule (17 Hours/Week)

• Monday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• Friday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one supervision and support
• Assist with daily routines and activities
• Encourage engagement in age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a calm, structured, and safe environment
• Build trust through consistency and patience
• Document care provided according to agency guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is strongly preferred
• Previous PCA, caregiver, DSP, CNA, or related experience preferred
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background screening

Preferred Candidate
