Memory Care Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to the residents at our privately owned memory care facility. We are searching for a caregiver to work 2PM to 10 PM 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care and long-term care, with a focus on assisting with daily living activities (ADLs). As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents, providing direct support and care in a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance as needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with medication management and administration
• Offer companionship and engage in social activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including assisting with household chores and meal preparation
• Utilize systems and technology to track resident care and progress
• Provide direct support and care to residents with memory care needs
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Report any changes or concerns to the care team

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation, references, and the ability to pass a background and drug test
• Experience in long-term care, memory care, or direct support
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
• Knowledge of dementia care and the ability to provide supportive care
• Familiarity with social work principles and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
