Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

* Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. * Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. * Provide mobility assistance and assist with patient transfers.

Communication

* Effectively communicate with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. * Report changes in patients' conditions to the supervising nurse. * Accurately document patient care activities in a timely manner.

Support to Healthcare Team

* Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. * Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient care environment. * Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Safety and Infection Control

* Follow established protocols for infection control and safety. * Adhere to proper lifting and transfer techniques for the safety of patients and healthcare providers.

Observation and Reporting

* Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or emotional conditions. * Monitor and assist with medication administration as directed by the nursing staff.
