Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Shift Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to residents during overnight hours. This vital role ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. As a Night Shift Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in creating a secure and nurturing environment, offering personalized assistance with daily activities and responding promptly to residents' needs throughout the night. Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the night, ensuring a secure environment.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols.
• Observe and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status.
• Manage behavioral challenges related to dementia or other cognitive impairments with patience and care.
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely for resident transfers.
• Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for each resident’s care plan and incidents.
• Perform light cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations with first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Support residents’ social engagement by encouraging participation in activities suited to their abilities.

Qualifications
