Non-Medical Caregiver

The Neighbor Lady, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic caregiver who enjoys working with seniors, for a part-time job with flexible daytime hours.

Duties include

• Driving to client homes for a range of activities including, but not limited to, housekeeping, companion care, light meal prep, and technology support
• Running errands with clients, or on their behalf
• Helping clients find resources to solve problems such as meal delivery, home repairs, full home cleaning, or lawn services
• Communicating with friends or relatives of clients regarding their care and condition

The ideal candidate will have

• Experience providing compassionate care over an extended period of time to a senior
• A flexible schedule with room for gradual growth in hours that may fluctuate with client acquisition
• Demonstrated ability and eagerness to help solve a wide range of problems
• Basic understanding of PC and Mac operating systems, devices, and programs
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• A positive and calm demeanor when working with people who may be uncommunicative, harsh, or difficult to understand
• A genuine interest in, and openness to, people from a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences
• A reliable vehicle, driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the United States

Total hours are negotiable, part time, and progressive - expansion of hours and responsibilities as business grows. Compensation is competitive, and mileage will be reimbursed. Service area is focused in Northfield, but is expanding with company growth - clients may be up to 30 minutes outside of Northfield.
