NOW HIRING: Home Health Aide (HHA) / Caregiver

Elm City Caregivers LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA), CNA, or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide non-medical in-home support to a client in Groton, CT.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of treating every client with dignity, patience, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily routines and personal care needs within the agency's authorized scope of services.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
• Complete daily care notes and required documentation.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• HHA, CNA, or PCA experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Physical examination and TB screening as required.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
