Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents’ health status is maintained.
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care, implementing behavior management strategies to promote safety and comfort.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal service while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
• Engage residents through social activities, providing companionship that fosters mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Drive residents when required for appointments or outings, ensuring safe transportation practices.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate resident needs clearly to ensure comprehensive care.
