Responsibilities

• Provide attententive care to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout your shift
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health status or behavior, documenting findings accurately in care plans
• Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and prescribed schedules, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist residents with meal consumption as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas, laundry, and sanitizing resident spaces
• Support residents with cognitive impairments like Alzheimer’s or dementia through memory care techniques and compassionate engagement

Skills

• Prior experience working in homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly valued
