PART TIME In-Home Caregiver/CNA/CHHA/DSP

Summary

Join our small team of caregivers supporting an adult, disabled male in his private, family home in Mickleton, SOUTH JERSEY. Must be energetic, compassionate and looking for a long term position.

**The hours for this position are primarily FILL-IN. You will be scheduled every Saturday and Sunday morning 7-11am PLUS coverage for call outs in our 2-10pm shift. If you are not available for these hours or for covering last-minute, please do not apply.

Caregiving Responsibilities

Maintaining the client's daily schedule and ADLs, including diapering, catheterizations, bathing, feeding orally and with a g-tube, mixing and administering medications and a variety of therapeutic techniques. Training is provided for all aspects of the job, regardless of experience level.

This is a busy job and demands excellent quality of care. Please be prepared for the depth of care that comes with working 1:1 rather than caring for multiple clients in a facility - the right candidate will appreciate being able to provide this level of attentive care and developing a meaningful relationship with the client and family.

Please note that the client's parents live in the home and you will need to communicate with them consistently regarding his well being.

Caregiving Qualifications

• 3+ years as a DSP, CNA or comparable experience
• DEPENDABILITY
• Excellent communication skills
• Has transportation and lives within 30 minutes of job location

• $20/hour
• Morning shifts are 6:30-9:30am M-F and 7-11am Sat/Sun - you will always be scheduled for the Sat+Sun shifts 7-11am.
• Evening shifts are 2-10:30pm - you will be a fill in for this shift as-needed.
