Charity Care Home Health is seeking compassionate PCA / HHA/ CNAs to provide hands-on support to clients in the Suffolk and Franklin, Virginia areas. This role is essential in helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Role Overview: Personal, Hands-On Support

As a Personal Care Aide / Home Health Aide, you will provide one-on-one assistance with daily activities, basic health-related tasks (as allowed by Virginia regulations and agency policy), and emotional support. You will be a key member of the home care team, observing changes in condition and communicating with your supervising nurse and office staff.

Key Responsibilities

* Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

+ Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene. + Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, and safe ambulation. + Support with meal preparation, feeding (if needed), and encouraging fluid intake as directed. * Home Support & Safety

+ Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care (e.g., linens, dishes, tidying the client’s area). + Maintain a safe environment, watching for fall risks or hazards in the home. + Follow infection control practices and agency safety protocols. * Companionship & Observation

+ Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support. + Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, mood, appetite, or home situation to the supervising nurse or office immediately. * Documentation & Communication

+ Complete visit notes accurately and on time using agency forms or electronic systems. + Follow the care plan developed by the RN and agency, and communicate...
