Position Summary

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

### What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as appropriate.
• Assist with meals and hydration.
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate team member.
• Assist residents in maintaining their independence whenever possible.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe resident environment.
• Follow individualized service plans and community policies.
• Treat every resident with patience, dignity, compassion, and respect.

### What We’re Looking For

• Compassionate and dependable individuals with a genuine desire to serve older adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Previous senior living, assisted living, memory care, home care, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
