Personal Care Aide/Home Health

AnsCare Services is currently hiring compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide quality in-home care services to seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout Columbus Ohio and the surrounding areas.

Our goal is to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while receiving respectful and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Run essential errands for clients including grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, and other necessary errands
• Accompany clients to appointments when needed
• Remind clients to take medications
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervising nurse or office staff
• Accurately clock in/out and document services using the Sandata EVV system

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for running errands for clients when needed
• Ability to work independently and professionally in clients’ homes
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication skills
• Must have at least 1 year of supervised home care experience within the last 3 years, OR be willing to complete the required 30 hours of pre-service training.

Requirements

• Pass competency evaluation conducted by a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Complete annual continuing education requirements
• Maintain valid First Aid certification
• Successfully pass BCI background check- FBI background check required if applicant has lived outside Ohio within the past 5 years-
