  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care procedures, including vital signs measurement, basic first aid, and CPR when necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with health regulation policies and HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and safety at all times.
  • Support medication reminders and help manage medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Foster a caring environment by providing emotional support and companionship to patients, encouraging positive interactions.
  • Follow established protocols for acute care situations, demonstrating knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and nursing best practices.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in patient care or healthcare settings is preferred; acute care experience is a plus.
  • Certification or training in CPR, basic life support (BLS), first aid, and medical terminology is highly desirable.
