Duties

• Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring safe food handling and sanitation practices
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules
• Support client with daily exercises
• Play games and do puzzles with client
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces

Skills

• Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments
• Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly
• Ability to perform patient monitoring during routine activities or emergencies while maintaining HIPAA c
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs using manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts and managing vital signs accurately
• Experience with medication administration and basic nursing skills
• Competence in meal preparation tailored to special diets and nutritional needs
