Private in home Live-in Senior Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable private Live-in Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to an individual in need. The caregiver will reside in the home and assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Candidate must have knowledge of dementia care as well as full assist of all ADL's.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Personal Care: Doing bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other hygiene-related tasks.
• Medication Management: Help assist with medication reminders as prescribed and monitor for potential side effects.
• Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining an organized living space.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
• Transportation: Accompany to medical appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
• Emergency Response: Act quickly and appropriately in case of medical emergencies or unexpected situations.

Qualifications

:

• Previous caregiving live-in experience is a must
• Knowledge of and experience relating to clients with dementia
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Background check and references required
• Calm personality
• Takes initiative

Work Schedule

:

This is a live-in position, requiring overnight stays at the residence. Days off and specific work hours will be determined based on the household’s needs and agreements between caregiver and client. .

Pay: $9,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
