Compensation & Schedule

• 48/48 Schedule: $20.00/hour + $500 weekly tax-free stipend ($1,540 gross weekly pay)
• 36/48 Flex Schedule: $19.00/hour + $500 weekly tax-free stipend ($1,336 average gross weekly pay)
• 36/36 Schedule: $18.00/hour + $500 weekly tax-free stipend ($1,148 gross weekly pay)
• 12-hour shifts
• Day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts available based on facility needs

Position Overview

SpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, is hiring experienced Certified Nursing Assistants for a travel assignment at a state inpatient psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This facility provides care for adult forensic and civil inpatient behavioral health populations in a secure, team-based hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Minimum one year of inpatient psychiatric CNA experience within the last five years.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Observe, monitor, and report changes in patient behavior and condition
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Assist nursing staff with therapeutic interventions
• Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Participate in MANDT crisis management and restraint training

Requirements

• Active Colorado CNA certification (or ability to obtain Colorado certification before start)
• Minimum one year of CNA experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health setting within the last five years
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience working in secure, forensic, or inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
• Ability to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as assigned
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
