Job duties include, but are not limited to

Provides personal care for the residents: changes bedding, assists in feeding, answering call lights, provides morning and evening appropriate care measures, etc.
Maintains resident unit and nursing work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
Adheres to safety and infection control policies and procedures: maintain good personal hygiene and uniform requirements, practice medical asepsis, perform routine cleaning of resident beside unit, care equipment and utility rooms, etc.
Assist residents' with preventative, therapeutic procedures: take vital signs and weight, keeps residents' skin and dry, performs range of joint motion exercises, etc.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing: report changes, document resident nutrition and fluid intake, and maintain confidentiality.
