Job duties include, but are not limited to

• Administers and documents medications given
• Follows all pharmacy and drug administration policies and procedures
• Provides direct resident care- functioning as a nursing assistant when not assigned to pass medication
• Adheres to safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Promotes positive public relations
• Ability to work as a team member and take directions from a Nurse

Job Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of State approved course in Medication Administration as a Qualified Medication Aide
• Completion of State approved Certified Nursing Assistant course as evidenced by current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Experience: 1-2 years experiences as a QMA in a long term care facility, preferred
