At Gardens Care Senior Living, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents, and we need PRN QMAPs (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) to help us achieve that goal. As a PRN QMAP, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the medications they need, while working as part of a caring and supportive team. This is a flexible, on-call position that offers you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors while maintaining a work schedule that fits your lifestyle.

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications to residents as per their individual care plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed schedules.
• Monitor and document residents’ responses to medications, reporting any concerns or changes to the nursing team.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, maintaining a safe and compliant medication management system.
• Assist with resident care, including providing support with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure that residents' needs are met and that all care protocols are followed.
• Follow all safety and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized medication administration environment.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of medication administration and any observations related to residents’ health or behavior.

What We’re Looking For

• Current QMAP certification in good standing with the state.
• Previous experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately administer medications and maintain records.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
