Skilled Caregiver Needed - FT Day and Evening shifts M-F

Job Summary

Synergy HomeCare of Barrington is seeking dedicated and compassionate Skilled Caregivers to join our team for full-time day and evening shifts from Monday through Friday. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support residents with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care needs by implementing personalized strategies
• Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury for both clients and caregivers
• Engage residents in social activities, group exercises, or recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning resident areas and common spaces
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure personalized care plans are followed
• Follow resident’s rights policies diligently while respecting individual preferences and dignity at all times

Experience

• Prior caregiving experience required. CNA encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with individuals with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to handle transfers safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively
• Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the US

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
