POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Caregiver to join our dynamic care team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional in-home care services to clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. Your dedication will help promote safety, comfort, and well-being while fostering meaningful connections with those you serve.

Schedule: Tuesday 8am-12pm

Duties

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patients’ conditions, including vital signs and overall health status
• Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal cleanup
• Support clients in engaging activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer’s care best practices
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times
• Hands-on experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care plan implementation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or mobility support
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is a plus
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; ongoing training in hospice or memory care is advantageous
