Job Summary

We’re seeking a Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide respectful, attentive support to clients in home and community settings. You’ll assist with daily routines, communicate clearly in Spanish and English as needed, and follow each client’s care plan while protecting privacy and resident rights. This is a paid position. The role is listed as female; applicants should meet any applicable, lawful role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and personal care assistance, including activities of daily living (ADLs), bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and follow care plans; assist with medication administration and vital signs when authorized and trained.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and support personal transportation and community activities.
• Use safe manual handling, patient transfer methods, and a Hoyer lift when trained; follow first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) practices.
• Offer direct support tailored to individual needs, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice, autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and other disabilities.

Experience

• Caregiving, senior care, geriatrics, nursing, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is relevant.
• Experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is welcome.
• Experience with patient observation, patient monitoring, resident rights, and client communication is valuable.
• First aid and CPR training, medication administration, vital signs, and Hoyer lift experience are preferred; follow applicable authorization and training requirements.
• Able to perform essential care tasks, including transfers and lifting, using safe techniques.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
