Responsibilities

• Assist with daily patient care activities including bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, accurately documenting findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to implement individualized care plans for patients with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities needs
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, fostering a compassionate and respectful environment
• Assist with patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper positioning to prevent injury or discomfort
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to safeguard patient confidentiality and promote a safe clinical environment

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification; experience preferred. Candidates with long-term care, assisted living, nursing home, hospital, clinic, or home care backgrounds are encouraged to apply
