About Us

Brightstar provides compassionate in-home care to clients who want to stay safe and comfortable in their own homes. We are urgently hiring overnight caregivers to join our team in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and the surrounding areas.

Position

Overnight Caregiver (CNA, PCA, or HHA) Location: Greensboro, Winston-Salem, NC and surrounding areas (in clients’ homes) Schedule: Overnight shifts Job Type: Part-time / PRN Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight companionship and personal care in the client’s home
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and repositioning as needed
• Help with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide medication reminders
• Monitor the client’s well-being and report changes or concerns
• Prepare light meals and snacks and help with light housekeeping
• Document care provided accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation and active car insurance
• VAILD driver’s license
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (we will help you get these if you don’t have them)
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
