Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and mobility needs
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Engage residents in social activities, encouraging participation to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being

Requirements

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred
• Proven skills in assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs measurement
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, geriatrics, and behavior management techniques
• Valid CBRF or CNA certification or equivalent licensure; CPR and First Aid certifications required or willing to obtain upon hire
