Duties

• Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged youth, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for infants and toddlers
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency
• Follow mandated reporting laws to accurately document any concerns related to child safety or well-being and communicate appropriately with families or authorities when necessary
• Lead age-appropriate educational activities and play-based learning sessions aligned with early childhood education standards
• Collaborate with families, teachers, or support staff to create individualized care plans that meet each person’s unique needs

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
