Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our non-medical home care agency. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need of assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to ensure a safe and comfortable living space.
• Support clients with meal planning and preparation according to their dietary needs and preferences.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to their routines.
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the appropriate family members or supervisors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents or concerns.

Requirements

• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to assist others in need.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility when necessary.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Prior experience in caregiving or home care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening and adhere to safety protocols.
