Responsibilities

• Provide attentive high-quality care to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times.
• Assist clients with essential activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Help manage daily schedules by assisting with meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and maintaining a structured, supportive routine.
• Implement positive behavior management strategies and offer strong companionship to promote meaningful social interaction and emotional stability.
• Follow all mandated reporting compliance guidelines by accurately documenting any changes in physical condition, behavior, or wellness concerns.
• Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate response to emergencies
• Partner closely with family members, medical professionals, and team members to follow and implement individualized care plans that meet each client's unique needs.

Skills

• Proven experience working as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar supportive role assisting individuals who require daily living support.
• Familiarity or prior experience caring for individuals with physical disabilities, cognitive impairments (such as dementia or Alzheimer's), or chronic health conditions.
