Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Part-Time (Weekend Shifts)

We are hiring a Part-Time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our small, home-style assisted living residence located in a quiet Missoula neighborhood. Our home provides a warm, family-like environment for residents living with various forms of dementia.

This role is ideal for students or individuals seeking hands-on healthcare experience in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

Schedule

* Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Day Shift)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care (hygiene, dressing, grooming)
• Provide medication reminders and support
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Monitor resident needs and report changes
• Support residents with dementia-related care needs
• Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient attitude
• Reliable and responsible
• Ability to work in a small team setting
• Comfortable working with elderly residents, including those with dementia
• Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus (not required)
