Caregiver

A caregiver is responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals who are unable to care for themselves due to age, illness, or disability and need help with daily living activities. The caregiver ensures clients' safety, comfort, and well-being while promoting independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Administer or remind clients to take medications as directed.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic health, safety, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required).

Preferred Skills

• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Time management and organizational abilities.

Working Conditions

• May work in private homes
• Flexible schedules

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
