Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings accurately in electronic health record systems.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health management.

Experience

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a drivers license
• Prior experience working in home care or long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with specialized care including dementia/memory care, behavioral health management, or pediatric patient services is advantageous.
• Certification/training-along with knowledge of HIPAA compliance ensures readiness to deliver safe patient service.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and physiology supports effective communication within healthcare teams across outpatient or inpatient settings. Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
