Position Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential daytime and evening care to residents, helping with activities of daily living, safety, comfort, and dignity. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team and, when needed, take initiative to complete tasks independently to ensure residents receive polite, respectful, and consistent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding as needed.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition; report changes to licensed staff and document appropriately.
• Assist with meal planning and dining assistance; support residents during meals and ensure proper nutrition.
• Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies; perform safety checks and rounds during shifts.
• Support medication administration or assistance per facility policy, in coordination with licensed nurses.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment; assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Foster a warm, respectful, and person-centered atmosphere; communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
