Caregiver

!!!!!!!HIRING PERSONAL CARE AIDES!!!!!!!!!!!!A PCA is responsible to provide personal and home care to the elderly and disabled. Hours are dependent of client requirements. Must have their own vehicle to travel and help clients with errands. Must be able to take on clients in Horry county. Must have a background clear of felonies, and must be able to pass a drug test. Experience preferred. Serious applicants only!

Duties

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Medication reminder
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Support clients with dementia care by utilizing appropriate techniques to ensure safety and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to perform basic household tasks while maintaining a clean environment.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
