Position Summary

Our Care Providers are responsible for delivering compassionate and professional personal care services to individuals in their own homes and in community. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and providing emotional support to clients while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities.

Mobility Support

: Aid clients with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and using assistive devices.

Household Tasks

: Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Companionship

: Offer emotional support and companionship, engage clients in meaningful activities, and provide conversation and social interaction.

Observation and Reporting

: Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs.

Emergency Response

: Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies, including administering first aid and contacting emergency services if necessary.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a caregiving role, particularly in home care, is preferred.

Certification

: Registered HCA (Home Care Aide), or ability to obtain within 1 month. *NOTE: Home Car Aide(s) will not be eligible for work and won't be allowed to perform any home care services until HCA registration is obtained, and all other hiring requirements met.

Negative TB Test

Skills

: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in managing various aspects of personal care.

Background Check

: Completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.

Physical

Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.

Transportation

: Must have reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.

Age

: Must be 18 years old, or older

Working Conditions

Supervisor: In-Home Care Provider will report to the owner

: Services are provided in the client's home, community, or a licensed facility which may include various living conditions and accessibility challenges.
