Full Time - Night shift available 6:00pm-6:00am (12hr)

As a caregiver you will provide a variety of non-medical services to benefit the quality of life for our residents.

This position demands good physical health. As a caregiver you will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule, must be able to move continuously during work hours and be able to lift and/or carry. The employee is expected to remain on their feet during their working hours.

Ÿ Grooming: Hair care, shaving, oral care, nail care, peri care and skin care.

Ÿ Bathing Assistance: shower assistance, shower chair, bed bath.

Ÿ Dressing Assistance: assisting with dressing and undressing a resident

Ÿ Toileting Assistance: bathroom, bedside commode, urinal, or adult disposable briefs,

catheter care, colostomy care

Ÿ Ambulation Assistance: use of walker, wheelchair, cane, gait belt, or crutches

Ÿ Transferring: from bed, wheelchair, low chair, use of hoyer lift, rotating resident in bed.

Ÿ Cleaning for resident safety: bedroom, bathroom, dining room, living room.

Ÿ Meals: following special diets, setting tables, serving, and feeding, making sure resident are drinking plenty of fluids throughout your shift.

Ÿ Emotional Support: companionship, teaching, having conversations.

Ÿ Communication: coordination of resident care with other members of our care team. Reporting changes in resident conditions to all staff, charting records for resident care.

Ÿ Charting: Bowel, meal intake, toileting, skin assessment (monthly and/or upon return from hospital), urine output with catheters...
