Caregiver/Personal Care Aide

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal care. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration as needed
• Support individuals with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease, through personalized engagement and behavior management strategies
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer residents or clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met
• Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly
• Support residents’ social engagement by facilitating group activities or one-on-one interactions to promote mental well-being
• Follow emergency procedures including first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure safety at all times
• Drive residents or clients when required for appointments or community outings while adhering to safety protocols
